I have ms office 2010 student that was pre installed on my toshiba netbook.

I don't use it, so is it possible to uninstall it to a portable drive and then load it onto a desktop where it may be used?

If it can be done what files would need to be copied?##I also notice it 'works' with click to run.

Pre-installed software is only licensed for use on the device it was pre-installed on.
How do I add a signature?

If you need some decent office software on another pc I recommend Libre Office which is a free office suite that can be setup to save and open with MS defaults.

I use this all the time and would never waste my money buying MS Office.

You can't 'copy' programs. You need to reinstall it from the relevant media onto the PC, using a valid licence key.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
