I had nothing at all yesterday. I have only done 3hrs this months (started working 11th I think), but I spent the first week working on the cert they offered me. Hopefully if I pass this I will get more work.

I have added check4change so hopefully that will help, incase I am missing anything :)

I had an hour and 15 mins yesterday but NRT again so far today.

Think I will add check4change too - it's such a pain having to check the computer all day to see if tasks are available.
  • Thanks for the reply Lexilex. Is there any way you can elaborate on the kind of person that passes/fails the test and how hard it is please? It all sounds very mysterious :)

Mysterious is the way they like it!

The exam has changed since I passed it last month, I am not sure what it includes. Somebody else may be able to help.

Hello I have failed the exam once but then passed when they gave me a 2nd chance. There are 3 separate parts to the exam, a theory and 2 practical. The practical parts are based on the actual work. I failed on part 2 originally and tbh I am not actually sure what I did differently when I passed. I just went through the guidelines again and something different must have sunk in. I would say just go for it and you will soon find out if you think it is for you when they send you the guidelines. You would then have the option to take it further and try the exam or not. I would definitely agree with Lexilex about being patient and methodical :)

Forgot to say I personally did not find it easy there is definitely a lot to think about but I am sure that like anything with practice it will get easier. I havn't started the actual work yet I am waiting for the paperwork to be finalised.

It's now been nearly 2 weeks since I passed my test and signed my final paperwork and it's still showing as waiting to be finalised. This is taking forever!
