Same for me studentmidwife - I finally have time to sit down and do the exam this afternoon and it isn't there.

I'm getting very worried now as my exam is due in by Tuesday and I can't access it.

I'm concerned that by the time they get back to me and I can access it, I may not have enough time to complete it before the deadline. I had set aside this afternoon to do it all Might they give me an extension as it is through no fault of my own that I can't do it this afternoon?

Could someone please give me an idea how long it all takes? I have read all the guidance notes.

I was also with Lionbridge for a while so not totally new to all this although a little rusty.

I was having exactly the same problem this time last week. They eventually replied to my fifth email, which I sent the day after my exam ended, and even then couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge the issue and just said that they were no longer able to proceed with my application. So it looks like I won't be getting even a first chance to take the exam.

That seems to be just me though, as everyone else on here who's had the same problem got a reply from them in time and managed to complete their exam OK.

My response (or respomse, as they called it - cos they're so VERY professional :rotfl:) came from the same address that sent the email about the exam, by the way.

I've emailed and will see what happens. Seems very unfair not to give an extension if can't access the exam. Looks like this is a problem thats happening to a lot of people and needs to be sorted. Hope you manage to sort it out before Tuesday. Mine is due Thursday

Ok so now when I email from my gmail account I am getting a bounce back message saying the email has not been received as I am not using the gmail account I registered with????!!! The exam details were sent to this email address so it is the one registered with.

This is getting very frustrating - tempted to just give up

I had that too studentmidwife so I tried it from my non-gmail account and it didn't bounce back. Can't be 100% sure they will respond though.

I am also wondering if all this is more trouble than it's worth.

I've done the same so we'll see if anything happens. It does say in the bounceback email that they will only respond to the registered gmail account though :mad:!!!

I hope you both get sorted! I wouldn't expect to hear anything until late on this afternoon. They really are not the quickest at responding at all.

I had exactly the same problem with the exam. I lost the whole weekend and Monday eventually they replied last thing Monday night (about 11.30pm) saying the problem was fixed.

I asked for an extension but they said it wasn't possible as the system is automated. They said I could go in the next exam run, but then you have the risk that you wont hear from them again. So I just spent 2 full days working on it and luckily passed.

I haven't had a single task since I started, just a test for a different task type, which I have started but not finished yet.
It keeps appearing when I can't sit and concentrate for long enough to finish it, and when I do have time its not there!.

My closing date is tomorrow and I haven't got it yet.
