Secondly, I'm sorry that you received this turn down, ebonye - I'm afraid I hadn't seen the information that Pippi found about a 5 year residency requirement.
I think it would be worth emailing them to appeal - I don't know your individual circumstances but perhaps the kinds of things you could say are, that you have family ties to the country, or that you have been studying a subject - or working in an area - that requires cultural familiarity and so you request that they waive the strict 5 year requirement as you have 4 years plus this special cultural familiarity that I suggest you should set out in some detail.0 -
