Laptop Trade in?

Hi all

Does anyone know of anywhere that offers a Laptop Trade in?

Our Toshiba one has a bit of wear and tear and is also slowing down.

Laptopsdirect have a trade in promotion at the moment with Toshiba but your trade in has to be less than 4 years old (which is new in my eyes!)

'Slowing down' can be easily fixed by a clean up or a Factory Restore. Not a reason to ditch it.

Trade In won't get you much, if anything at all. Through the official Toshiba Trade In program, you will get up to £45 back from a new Toshiba purchase.

In addition, the information provided in contradictory:

- be complete with AC adaptor, battery and DVD drive

But if you put your laptop details in, it suggests that you can get £45 back.
But imagine your annoyance after buying a new laptop for them to reject your claim...

That laptop should run nicely with XP, even without the RAM upgrade to 2GB.

You can often get an 'as new' returned Toshiba laptop from Argos Outlet for £200 or so.
You can keep this one as a spare, put it on eBay or offer it to someone less well off than yourself.
