Hi, my car's MOT runs out tomorrow but its not booked in for a test until Monday am I still insured? Thanks
You have not told us when your insurance runs out;)
If the MOT runs out tomorrow, then even if you are insured, you will not be able to drive it on the road, until next Monday when you are allowed to drive it to the MOT station.
Hopefully your tax and insurance are still valid.0 -
There is a common myth that having no MOT invalidates your insurance. In fact, it is very hard for insurance companies to escape their third party liabilities, though they might use having no MOT as a reason to reduce the amount or not pay out at all on the comprehensive part of your cover.
You would, of course, be breaking the law if you drove the car, apart from when you drive to an MOT station for a pre-arranged test.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0
