Euro Zone bank account for a UK resident?

Hi!
We run a small online business in England and in order to sell with Amazon on some of their European sites they need me to have a Euro Zone based bank account.
I could approach every Euro Zone based bank and ask if they'd permit a non-resident to open an account with them but wondered if anyone had any direct knowledge of a bank that might be able to help?
I'm a UK homeowner and can provide whatever forms of identification / bank statements etc. that may be required.
Regards,
Stephen

I'm based in the UK and have an AIB Bank account in the Republic of Ireland, all I had to do was provide ID and it was set up no problems, hope this helps

Very helpful, thanks! :-)
Did you go into an AIB branch or could it be done online? Not sure where my nearest branch would be. Not very close if I had to guess!
Thanks again,

I went to the branch was in Lifford, County Donegal, Ireland. So yes, probably not the easiest for you to get at.
It is one of the advantages we have of living in part of the UK but in a same land mass as an EU country.
So while in principle it works, practically it could be a bit more difficult.

Try DKB.de , needs a bit of Google Translate for the German but is a incredibly useful bank with no foreign transaction fees on their visa card withdrawals.
Can be opened online with ID being confirmed by a local UK bank official.0 -

Can you do SEPA transfers with DKB.de?
I have a business, and all I want to do is accept Euros from my customers without having to pay Barclays £6 for every transaction.
My worry is, if all I ever do is move money about, and never actually use their other services, they wont like me too much.0 -

Who do you bank with in the UK? They may be able to help you open a euro-zone account.
For instance, HSBC offer accounts in Malta and France for instance.
