Grants available on DLA?

Are there any grants available to people on DLA - not including the WarmFront one.
My friends just been granted a heating one but having never claimed anything before she wonders if she's missed claiming anything she could apply for.
Also, not wishing to move from the subject, the boiler she's been offered is a leisure something with 8000btu (whatever that is?) and she's concerned she might be getting something inferior because its a grant. Dont think she's ungrateful though to be getting one free because she isnt.
Any help would be gratefully accepted.

The boiler she gets most certainly won't be inferior just because she is getting a grant.
Quite often where a grant is concerned whatever supplied is at the uppermost figure of the allowed grant so your friend won't be being palmed off with something not suitable. The 8000btu will be the power output of the boiler & I believe it relates to the amount of radiators it is capable of feeding. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Disabled Facilitiea Grants are available to disabled people for adaptations to their houses (whether owned or rented).
They are means-tested.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.
