I'm trying to head off a potential problem ...
When flushing, the water level in our toilet is rising more than it used to. If i flush it several times after that it goes back to normal, but I'm concerned that it may be starting to block. Is this right? If so, can anyone recommend a good product to clear any blockages that might be forming?
Thanks.

I find that a couple of full buckets of water will soon cure your problem as you are describing it.0

Are you using a different make of loo roll? I find I have this problem with the quilted brands like Charmin.0

:rotfl:Have you checked for bricks :rotfl:
Noooooooooo sorry
Check the outside drain manhole to see if its backing up, if its clear then get someone to put a bucket of water down the loo or flush it and watch at the manhole to see if about the same amount of water is flowing freely?
There is a problem with modern WC cisterns as they are made to SAVE water and this is by reducing the amount of water flushed, this can result in incomplete flushing with use?
Make sure you flush the maximum when necessary if the WC has a dual flush system to!
There are also Caustic Soda products available but these have to be used with EXTREME care as they are very CAUSTIC :think:Signature removed0 -

My toilet had exactly the same problem. But the blockage was outside under the manhole cover. So its worth opening it up and having a look.0
