I am running Windows 7 :rotfl:Vista was the PC before.

There does not seem to be anything that is suitable for Windows 7 unfortunately:(

I tried Sourceforge again without sucess.

Threre is a discussion section on there that I had not seen previously and most of it concerns Windows 7 Home Premium users (as I am) who are finding that allchars cannot successfully be downloaded. A great pity, and as a translator it is a disaster for me!!

I have no issues using ALT nnnn for inserting characters (Win7 Home premium). The key is a) I need to use the number pad, and b) the numbers must be typed in groups of 4.

ALT 0223 = ß
ALT 0224 = à

etc.

Also, at home my laptop has a US keyboard. This means that pressing " followed by a will insert ä; etc.
