wedding favours

Hi guys,
Ive started planning my wedding (for the second time as we decided we didnt have the money thefirst time) any ways ive had an idea for favours but my OH thinkks it might not be so great and wanted opinions.
I wanted to get a litle bag and fill it with bits and bobs with a little poem. This doesnt make much sense but its hard to explain. I want to for example put a penny in so your never skint and the we poem or note would explain the logic behind each item. I had this for my grad ball and loved it though i realise everyone might not have. Another concern would be if i could have enough things to fill the we bag with. I just think it would be a nice we personal touch.
Whats your thoughts / any ideas for items
Thanks

Lots of ideas for this kind of thing on ebay, have a look at this one:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LITTLE-BAG-OF-HAPPINESS-UNUSUAL-GIFT-WEDDING-FAVOURS-/390451404566?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5ae8b79f16
Some are dedicated for the bride and groom, best man, bridesmaids etc.
Things to include:
Paper clip - to hold things together (incase you fall apart)
Penny - so you are never skint
Eraser - to rub out life's little mistakes
Have a look through the listings, might even be worth actually buying some instead of making them up depending on what you want to put in them.
Good luck and happy favouring :-)No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -

Ok....can I offer an honest opinion or have you actually set your heart on the idea and just want people to help you figure out what to put in? I don't want to say the wrong thing!0

This sounds a lovely idea in principle - but I honestly think 99% of them will just get left on the table or binned. Granted this happens a lot with wedding favours anyway but seems a lot of work for something that will only be looked at for a minute...sorry...Officially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170 -

How about making your own fudge or truffles or something, if he would like something like that? Maybe do it together, or could be something to do with your bridesmaids or mums? It would definately be a personal touch, making it yourself!MFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0
