Dro approved today

I had a phone call to say for now my dro is approved unless something else comes up , is that a normal thing for a intermediatry to say ? Also how soon will it appear on the insolvency register please Thank you

    Approved is approved.

    It could be revoked later but most DROs survive the 12 months. If it was approved yesterday you will be on the register today.

  • Yes paperwork for dro arrived today, as did some statement phoned up reliable and collections and told them I had a dro, they seemed not to know what it was and said they have today applied interest in and charges, don't know whatto do about that .
    And yes it was close thank you

    They can do what they want with interest etc. The debt is unenforceable during the moratorium period and will be written off at the end of that period. It doesn't matter if they take you over the limit.

    Surprised they don't know about DROs - they are in a lot of the ones I've seen so must be in a fair few thousand by now.
