We have moved the computer and stuff into another room ,the printer wouldn't scan so in my "wisdom" I uninstalled the printer thinking/hoping that it would solve itself when I installed it. Well now I get a message that it "isn't compatible with our OP ..current OP 601.00" How come it was compatible in one room yet not now? If it helps I found out the computer is a 32bit windows 7home premium.Any suggestion will be very appreciated.

Maybe you don't have the correct Windows 7 driver installed. Download the driver from here.

Thanks both that was a great help and relatively "easy" ,however the scanner isn't working,
