Wrong item received (Amazon seller)

Hi,

I hope that this is the right part of the forum. Really just want some pre-emptive advice if possible.

I bought an item from a Amazon business seller last week which arrived today - it's the wrong model. The model number was stamped on the box but I didn't notice and opened the packaging. There's only a slight price difference between the two items (Item bought was more expensive), however, the sizes and look of them is different... This one is unsuitable for my needs.

I've contacted the seller about this over Amazon. The items are over 20kg boxed.

I still want the original item though & would I responsible for the return costs of this item?

Thanks in advance!

Seller is responsible for returned postage, they failed to fulfil the contract correctly.

    Thank you :)

Seller agreed to refund in full.

I have not raised any sort of case on Amazon but I did email them. They've said that firstly, they're not getting involved, and if I want to open a case, then the seller is under no obligation to provide return costs.

Seller said that they will arrange a courier to come and pick the item up, and will then issue refund. Does anybody know if this is usual practice for the seller to arrange this..?
