Many moons ago (about 1999) I built a pc for video editing utilising a pinnacle dv500 and adobe premiere 6.5. The OS was win 98SE.
I've still got that PC but I need a tidy up and want to get rid. I also have a second desktop PC running win xp (dual boot with ubuntu). I have tried to locate drivers for the DV500 so I can swap the PCI card over to the xp machine, but can't find any. It appears Pinnacle no longer support the DV500.
Can anybody help me out, by either providing suitable drivers or an alternative solution. I did think about buying a USB capture device (Aldi still have a few in for £20), but it seems such a waste of the DV500 when it's in perfect condition.
Thanks in advance

Can't recommned the site or anything but it looks like it might have what you need

thanks for the link spannerzone. I tried a couple of those driver packages but without any joy. Although they stated they were for XP, the first one give me a blue crash screen on boot up and the second booted up, but Premiere crashed every time I tried to open it (plus I couldn't close/get rid of it even via the task manger). So it looks as though I'm going to be saying farewell to my dv500 and get one of those usb capture devices. If there's no other suggestions can somebody recommend a good usb capture device?
