Insulation boards for underfloor heating when tiling

I am having my kitchen floor re-tiled. It is a concrete/quarry tile in an old Victorian house. It is basement level and underground.
Walls all been tanked, old tiles are up. I want to put eletric underfloor heating in, using the loose wire system rather than the mats.
As I am going onto concrete/old quarry tiles I have been told that I will need a 6mm or 10mm insulation board. 6mm is fine, 10mm pushes the limits as combined with everything else I dont want a big difference in the levels as it is a open plan kitchen diner.
So after all that rambling, can anyone recommend good quality and reasonably priced insulation boards to lay? Tile Giant quoted me £15.75 for .6m x 1.25m trade price.
Is that reasonable or can I really get this a lot cheaper elsewhere?

I used Marmox several times, a board the size you mention is £9.90. I have used heavy tiles on top and floors feel solid with no signs of movement or cracks after 2 years heavy use. The electric underfloor heating performance has been superb on it.
THIS supplier sells it at good prices but only if ordered with underfloor heating, usefully they also sell superb quality and price UFH kits and parts so you can get it all delivered in one.
(You can buy Marmox elswhere.. see the https://www.marmox.co.uk website for info.)European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.0 -
Thanks for that, there other products including thermostats look well priced so might end up using them for it all!0

I used their TR8100 thermostat which seems to have now been updated to TR8200 now. Looks similar though, great control, looks very smart and modern when installed.European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.0
