I want to have hello moto ring tone on my iPhone. I have downloaded the tone. I have it in iTunes and can copy to my iPhone Music. Can anyone tell me how to set it as ring tone?

Thanks :A

Had to sync iPhone with iTunes, unfortunately deleting all my tunes from the phone, bummer.

  • Download the app called Ringtone Designer by Blackout Labs and follow the instructions. The instructions should work as I've changed the default ringtone to a song in my iPhone

No need for an App. I've done it manual here are the steps:

Choose a song on your iTunes right click then choose 'get info' choose then go to the options tab and choose the 30 seconds you want to be a ringtone - changing the start and stop time.

Then right click 'create AAC version' then go to recent files it should be in there. Then right click 'show in windows explorer'

Then you need to change the file extension to .m4r

Then drag it into your iphone tab in iTunes and it'll create a 'ringtone' folder

Or for my £30 Nokia, copy any mp3 from pc to phone using Windows Explorer, no need for fancy software.
In phone, go to music folder, highlight mp3, select 'use as ringtone'. :D
    Move along, nothing to see.
