Google Checkout Integration in PHP/MySQL website?

Has anyone integrated google checkout into anexisting php/mysql scripted website?
as you may have guessed Im not much of a techie but just wondering how easy it is and anything to keep an eye out for

I'm sure google will have some sort of API's documented on their site.

In fact they do

Doesn't look too hard, although I guess that depends how competent a developer you are.

I believe the official 1 t0 10 scale of developer competance is anything between:
1: Superscaper (idiot incompetant newbie)
to
10: Wolfman (expert)

PS it's a logarithmic scale.

I was kind of thinking of making a google widget for the checkout account, it'd be useful to keep track on my homepage of pending orders etc.

I'm no expert. Might give it a try, or at least read through sometime. I did play around the with google maps API's which were quite cool. Hopefully it'll be similar.
