I bought a laptop from lenovo back in January. When I purchased it, I wasn't told anything about any shipping charges, and their website said it was free shipping. Today I have received a 'reminder' in the post from UPS asking me to pay for the transportation charges for my laptop. It also says that if it isn't received within 7 days of this letter the charges will be reversed back to the shipper of the goods. I am not in a position where I can make this payment within the next week, I wasn't aware I had to make it. I am worried that Lenovo are going to charge my credit card heavily because of this. Can anyone give any advice on their experience?
Thank you

I bought a laptop from Lenovo in December, and the shipping was free, delivered by UPS standard, it came from the Netherlands.
Did you buy it from the shop.lenovo.com website?
If so I would check the order tracking if I were you, it takes you to the UPS website where you can find out about the type of delivery it was. All of the order and tracking details will be in your confirmation email.
You can also phone Lenovo sales on 020 3014 0783.
The Lenovo website still states free shipping, but only for certain models.0 -
I bought it directly from Lenovo on their website, it also came from the Netherlands. I still have the box with some documents attached to it, I don't know what they are though. I would have paid it had I known I had to, but because it said free shipping. I believe it was one of the Y series ideapads I bought.0
