    This is eBay's current listings for second hand laptops.

    As you can see they don't have much value and the figures being quoted in this thread are high end. I gave my last laptop to the grandchildren when I was replacing it because trying to sell it wasn't worth the bother.

    Having said that if you want to give him a premium price because he is family (understandable) then there's no point in asking us. ;)

    Thank you, I did look at ebay but my concentration is pi$$ poor at the moment due to the ME - just waiting for half term to be over before I can have a week of bed-rest to reset my energy levels.
