EACH ticket still has a 14million/1 chance of winning, but if you have 2 tickets the odds become 1/14mm + 1/14mm = 1/7million etc

If you bought 10.5 million different tickets the odds on winning would be 3 in 4, as you said 3.5 million losing combos is 1/4

Well, im rubbish at maths, but if we are talking lucky dips, then I dont think buying more does increase your odds? For example, if the odds are 14 million to one, and you bought 14 million tickets where you chose the numbers, you could guarantee that you cover every possible combination, and guarantee a jackpot. But if you bought 14 million lucky dips, you cant guarantee to cover every combination can you?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
My mum wins lregularly on the Thunderball. What are the odds for that?

She picks up at least a £5 every week (which is what she spends on it weekly). Not a bad return!

if you buy 1 tickict at odds of 14m to one does your next ticket not carry odds of 13,999,999/1? as only one possible combination has been covered.

Next ticket carries odds of 13,999,998/1 and so on.

£5 in, £5 out, sounds like no return!
