    Afternoon

Popped up to the shops earlier and spent £16.50 on fruit and veg, bread etc and then £4 something on some stamps.

Have paid for my 4 month pre-payment prescription certificate for £36 (just before they scrap the 4 month one and start 3 monthly ones!)

£56.50 for me so far and have no plans to go out and spend out any more money today... but all budgetted for!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

A big fat zero!! Hurray! And I'm really proud of that! Don't ask me why, but today I felt like the money in my purse was burning a hole in it and therefore I must spend it! However, I resisted the temptation of magazines and other totally unnecessary items and I only window shopped!

Consumerpower: the only thing I can think of is to leave loose change at home and only bring a note in, and DON'T ask colleagues for change!

Nothing out of 'extras' budget... £25 on food in Waitrose but £10 of that was gift voucher so still within my £10-15 a week budget.. although the idea was to use the voucher instead rather than as well as my usual spend... got a bit carried away though :o On the positive side I have enough olive oil and pasta to keep me going for weeks, and I got a few spices etc to add a bit of interest to the cheap meals which were starting to bore me!!

Well after having a pretty good week I let myself down today by buying junk food at Mcdonalds on the way home. I also brought Coffee and a peice of Carrot cake ealier on at Starbucks. Total spend today £8.08

This means that I broke my budget for the week(£10) as in total all week I have spent £12.39 in total.

On a better note I should be able to claim back some Coffee sessions on my expenses upo to about £10 for the week although of course that could have gone off something else.

    Today, I spent too much.
    £4.90 on Chip shop takeaway
    £0.45p Diet Coke.
    £0.40p Mars Bar

Had a bit of an issue with the cars. Basically the bodyshop came to take the people carrier away, and replaced a 7 seater with a teeny weeny cr*p Volkswagen Fox. It has 4 seats! Anyway, went to Nans in said hire car, left little 2 there while collected middle one and a big one from school (other big one gets bus). Fine AOK until we were all at Nans and I realised that we cannot get home - not enough space in the car.

Spent the takeaway money on tea until OH finished work and could take some kids home!
