Pending notice Period Payment

Hi All,
I have had a terrible time of late with a horrible disciplinary process but thank god justice has prevailed and I am now about to enter the point of sorting out payment now my appeal has been upheld. We agreed that the dismissal would stand (as I havent worked there a year my employment rights were limited) but importantly, the GM charge has been dropped and I am entitled to my 3 month notice period- which I will not be working.
I wonder whether anyone can help me at this stage and make me aware of important factors I need to consider? See below for a few points
- I understand this isnt tax free, should I expect the 3 months pay in a lump sum?
- If I get 3 months pay in 1 shot, I assume I am going to be over taxed?
- The 3 months notice period should also include 8 days of holiday as I havent taken any this year.
- I am also owed a days pay for a company error where they deducted an annual holiday (the previous year) by mistake.
- I only worked there for 6 months but started my first pension scheme, I assume the 3 months notice pay will still go to my pension scheme?
- I owe about 1.5k in a travel loan and £350ish for a ride to work scheme....can this come out prior to tax etc, ot should they be seperate transactions to what I am owed?
- I was sacked for GM on Jan 23rd but at the time they agreed to pay me till the end of the month (i'd already been paid for Jan which probably explains their genirosity). My appeal was upheld today (11th Feb)...is there any point pursuing those additonal days in feb.
As you can see, there are a lot of factors to cosider as I enter this stage of moving on with my life! With all these issues to consider though, I juts want to make sure I ask the right questions and get what's rightfully mine....and importantly, in the most tax efficient way I am legally entitled to.
Cheers in advance.
