Avoid Pizza Hut Delivery! !

Yesterday I ordered two pizzas from the pizza hut delivery on lewes road, brighton - this was the worst mistake I have made in a long time!! I took advantage of a 50 percent off deal...great I thought, however, I wasn't expecting that I would have to cook my pizzas myself. Firstly I ordered and paid online...30 minutes later the delivery driver turns up at mine (good timing) he hands me my pizzas and a bottle of pepsi which I did not order, anyway he demands that I pay for it, which I end up doing as he starts to get worked up about the situation. When I get to around to eating my meal I discovered that the pizza was not even cooked, the base was litterally still dough, it fell apart as I picked it up...no problem I can thought, its an easy mistake to make, i'll make them aware of It.

I call the outlet, the member of staff who answered was sincerely sorry and said he'll send me another one as soon as possible as long as I don't eat the existing pizzas...25 minutes later, another pizza has arrived, they take the old undercooked ones andall is well until I open the box.....these pizzas were even worse; the cheeshadn't even melted. So again I phone the outlet. The manager, Nicole, answered. Her reception towards me was instant aggression...she did not offer me an apology, she did not offer me a replacement, she just raised her voice and kept telling me I was wrong!! I could not get a word in edgeways...she treated me with no respect before asking me "am i finished?"....this service was horrendous!!! I eat in a pizza hut restaurant two weeks beforehand and received a lovely meal...I cannot say the same for the company's delivery service. Avoid at all costs!!

  • Try speaking to the head office and see what they say? Once I made a complaint against a Pizza Hut restaurant and I got £10 vouchers as a gesture of goodwill.

this should be under praise/vents, as you are not asking for advice, just letting people know about your bad experience
  • Did you take a photo of the pizza?
  • I've had mixed results with pizza hut, actualy went to the resturant on Sunday with the girls and had a brilliant meal. However the last time I ordered for pick up (they dont deliver to me even though i'm less than 1 mile away!) I got a phone call 10 mins before it was due, after being ordered an hour beforehand, telling me they have ran out of pizza dough? Pretty sure they couldn't be bothered and even head office didn't belive it! Did eventully get a refund after 2 weeks...

Just used them to be delivered to work. I was very impressed. Good quality food, all nice and warm and delivered on time. Of course that doesn't mean all Pizza Hut Deliveries are great but I am more than impressed with the Manchester Central one!

  • Probably be better of mentioning the specific Pizza Hut rather than saying all of them are crap.

I had to read it about 3 times to see that, and it's on the first line! God bless capital letters.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

How much of the original pizza had you eaten when you gave it back?
