in Credit cards
Hi Folks,
Im a newbie to the great credit card shuffle and I am seeking some advice to resolve my finances, so I am hoping that some of you can advise me.
My current situation is that I have credit card as well as a loan. What I am seeking to do is to pay off both accounts without paying any / much interest on either. Ideally I would like to combine the 2, so that I am only making one payment.
I have tried to transfer my loan amount onto a credit card but I am unable to find anywhere that would allow this. I could use the loan to pay off the credit card but the loan is a higher interest rate in comparison to the 0% balance transfer cards.
Would I be better off paying the loan first and only paying the minimum amount off the card and swapping cards at the end of the 0% period or is there a better way to do it ?

Hi,
Who is your loan with, and is it flexible and not front loaded with interest?
If it is front loaded, Ie all the interest charged up front, then not really worth changing.
Have you tried Egg Credit Card?, as they allow super bal transfers which enable you to transfer funds from your cc to you current account to pay of the loan.
