Hi guys I left Uk and I got my bank account that I want to close and I call them and they told me that I've to write a letter to my brunch Or somewhere...
Well... What do I have to write to close that account please, because I don't want to have to write 3 times because I didn't sign it or whatever.
Please tell me what should I exactly have to put and where to send it
Really Thanks.

Something like this should suffice:

Adjust to suit. I assume you have already notified them of a change of address? If not, you may want to include this in your request, along with proof.0 -
Wow perfect thanks, yes I did I told them I was leaving the country but I did to Lloydts not to my brunch, anyway they were touching something in the system and they told me now you'll have to send us a letter... Bla bla if you want to clise it as soon as you don't have money...
But where I've to send the leter to my original brunch?
I won't send any proof... Do I need it?
Thanks guys really thanks.0 -
Send it to the original branch. It'll actually be sent on to a service centre from there but it's the best route. Make sure your signature matches the original signature mandate you provided when either opening the account or updating address last, this will be the only way they have of verifying that the request is from you.0
