Complaint AA Breakdown repair, peace of mind???

You state it's just had a new camshaft and belt recently before it failed camshafts do not wear out or snap the lobe off unless there is oil starvation or a faulty casting/ machining which is doubtfull I'd link to know why it just had a new camshaft prior to it breaking down again I've seen camshafts snap clean in half usually after failure of the timing belt or chain plus if it was that badly worn it would have misfired prior due to non opening of valves etc
I had the AA out to my wife's Audi a few weeks back after near two hours of playing it was still running like a sick pig all it wanted was the ecu reset after the battery went completely flat which was done by a friend who does diagnostics etc in less than 30 secs
This info was readily avalible on the Internet and yet the AA man when I showed him wouldn't have it
