Can someone help with accident & insurance?

Hello I have never been involved in an accident so would be grateful for any advice received. My uncle is elderly & does not live near us. We knew he had been in an accident about a week ago but have just found out more details when we visited him at the weekend & he has asked us for some help. He has never been involved…

For his safety and the safety of others, I would suggest a driving assessment at some point in the near future. If that other vehicle had been a truck, things would have been much worse. If the other vehicle had been a motorbike, we'd be looking at a dead biker.

Speed has no bearing on this accident at all, we don't know what the speed limit was or the road layout, or about any bends or crests near the accident spot.
