                                  in Credit cards

I owe wonga £300 by march 13th. The problem i have is i'm currently unemployed and i don't have any money to travel to the job i don't have yet. Paying wonga is my top priority though. So i'm now looking at my first credit card to pay back the wonga loan and pay for travel. I've half way filled out an aqua credit card form but i registered here to get some advice on what options do i have, i don't want to miss the march 13th pay date and have the interest climb on. I can't borrow from family members/friends(don't ask).
What is the best thing to do? I'm looking for a job constantly but i don't even have money to travel to one.

Should of got a job before getting involved with borrowing.0

What did you spend the money on? Can you sell it to raise some funds?
It's irresponsible to take out further borrowing if you cannot afford to pay it back?0

I've been constantly looking for a job and still am. I've already beat myself up over this. What is the best way to govern this moving forward?0

With no job....no income....I doubt very much you'll be accepted for a credit card, and even if you are you might just get a £200 limit....0

 Talk to Wonga....
Do not be surprised if you get rejected for the CC.
DO you not get costs for attemding interviews via job seakers etc? Or emergancy loans.
Perhaps explore options in that area..
Above all else talk to Wonga. At the end of the day, they are looking ot get htat £300 back. So may do something to help ypu.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0

It's not impossible to get a sub-prime credit card when you're unemployed; both Aqua and Vanquis state that they will consider unemployed as well as self-employed with irregular income. Let's just say that it's unlikely in your current circumstances.
Being unemployed and presumably on JSA you won't have enough income to pay off Wonga and pay for you day-day living expenses. An Individual Voluntary Arrangement through an Insolvency Practitioner might be a good option but not suitable if you don't have a disposable income of at least £200 per month.
The other two options that I see as viable is get a job or default by not paying in which case you'll have debt collectors after you. Wonga might help, it's worth a try, but I'd say they will adopt a "we want our money now or else" attitude.0
