I'm not sure if this can be done or not but I 'm enquring about whether or not the yellow folders that can be created on Windows OS can be locked.
The reason I ask this question is because I want to store some personal data on the HDD and I don't wan't just anyone to be able to access these folders.
Thanks.

Why not just do this via your profile?
You log in using your user name and password - others need their own user name & password. If you all put stuff in "My Documents" then it's hidden from other users, unless you choose to share it.
Just make sure that your profile has your own password known to no-one else.
And set up a separate Administrator account, too.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0
