But I think its still sh* ite that even customers who've never had SKY TV EVER, can't use this offer. Its still annoying meeeee!!
Living off £450 per month is easy...! If you aren't single! :j0 -
Thanks MSE what a great deal! I hope those unlucky ones who didn't get there quick enough use this to haggle with Sky, I bet they do the same offer!
Having stayed loyal to BT for years was paying around £15 per month for broadband, and same for full price line rental (my laziness to blame). They could get down to half price for BB, and offer line rental saver.
But that was not enough to stop me moving back to Sky, I had an account about 13 months ago which has caused some issues but dealt with by Sky calling me immediately after ordering on line. Install booked for Saturday.
I have just amended my order, added Sky's line rental saver and with another £5 per month saved am a very happy bunny! Will have to add HD and F1 channel next month ready for the new season but that's my treat.
Sky didn't offer LR saver, but found it on their website while looking up Any time call packages - noticed I can't use my 18185 anymore which is a pity, and you can't have phone/BB without Sky's line rental any more so might just pay Sky the £5 month for anytime calls that I've saved, don't fancy dialling 11 digit prefixes!!
So I get Sky TV back (live in poor Freeview reception area) and paying LESS than BT have been charging me for just phone/BB, thank you MSE! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
My apologies, should've rephrased that sentence. Will do it now. You need an active phone line to receive SKY TV. :j
You do not have to have a landline phone of any sort to have sky tv! I have virgin broadband and sky tv.
I had to pay a £5 one off connection charge instead of having a phone line.
The only things you can't do if you opt not to have a phone line is have multi room or prepay movies.0 -
