Farage is a good communicator but he is a bit too "little Britain" to have any real credibility. This is the principle problem with UKIP.

I disagree I think UKIP's common sense attitude and desire to cut out red tape has a lot of credibility - but I guess it depends from what stance you are looking at things.

Ok no worries, it was probably a slip of the tongue, yes.
Where can I find out how many policies each party had at the last election? You must have had a source for it?

Thinking about it.......I just remembered where I got this from. This was told to me in person by a guy called David Challice from UKIP - I didn't ask him to substantiate it at the time as I didn't realise I would be called into question by Mr Ticklepants and asked to prove it.

But, if I dare ask you to use your common sense ( :D:D:D ) there really would be no point in making that up would there?

Why claim to have more policies than the other parties if you don't? You could just say the tory's have more policies than us but we have some good ones........ couldn't you?

What would be the point of making that up?

I suppose that is a little too straightforward :rotfl::rotfl:

The point is that UKIP are far more than a one trick pony and don't focus soley on Europe or Immigration as certain people would have you believe.

Maybe they should rename their party then? something like The UK Independence (and other things) Party :)

I agree. Those things that you have referred to are not the "little Britain" rubbish I mean.

Because politicians have never been known to 'mispeak' or lie or twist the truth. You're right, we can definitely take everything they say at face value with no questions asked.

Does not really matter to most what he's like - as long as the other parties continue to misread the mood of the nation on immigration/Europe etc he'll do very well!

I can't stand Farrage, his only subjects are the EU and immigration. He could be asked what he had for breakfast and he'd twist it into an anti EU rant. He just loses all credibility with me, he has some good points to make but loses them amongst the ranting.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Its been very interesting reading the comments on here. I must admit Mr Farage's party does have some charm at the moment. I think its probably because of his stance on immigration & the EU. I am definitely NOT against immigration - just uncontrolled immigration to one of the smallest countries in the EU. (can someone tell my why political refugee's travel all across Europe to the UK when other countries have ostensibly the same policies as they are part of the EU???) Some MP's also bang on about us losing trade if we no longer belong to the EU - funny that other countries that belong to EFTA (which has been going longer than the EU) don't seem to have a problem. The EU is NOT our only trading partner & no exporter worth their salt would rely on one market. Hope I havn't stirred the pot too much.:o
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

    Really!

    Wow!!!!

Lol - talk about stating the bleeding obvious luv.

Once again somebody comes along trying to stuff words into my mouth and expecting to be hailed as a genius for doing so.

The point/discussion was revolving around something that there would be no real point to lie about.

But thanks for your revelations anyway.
