Aargh Cold Callers at the door!

We have always had a bit of a problem here with cold callers knocking at our door (despite having a perfectly visible working doorbell too, but that is another issue!)
Anyway we getting at least 2 to 3 a week so I downloaded the No uninvited traders poster from here & stuck it on the door.
It seemed to be working for quite a while so hurrah I thought won't have to deal with that anymore.
Then in just the last week, despite the poster in bright yellow clearly stating we do not buy at the door etc, we have had a double glazing salesman & just now a man knocked asking what we are doing about our flat roof on our porch. Asked why he asked and he proceeded to pull out roofing leaflets argh!! :mad:
Afraid I was quite rude & asked him if he couldn't read, pointed at the poster & slammed the door on him! Why do these people not take the simple but polite poster seriously and not knock! Its so blooming annoying.
Anway that is my rant for today! Thanks for letting me rant here
