Gumtree have booted me out?????

I have just registered with Gumtree, and put on an ad for a car. All very innocent?
They took the ad, then rejected it with no reason. I then emailed to ask why, and I am told I have constantly broken their rules, and am banned!
The only thing I have ever done on Gumtree, apart from reading it, is to report an ad which was fraudulent (Proven to be so).
I was told I could appeal, which I did, but rejected immediately. I asked for examples of when I was naughty, but they refuse to comply. They now say they will ignore any future emails.
So far as I am concerned, they can go xxxx themselves, but I am concerned that someone is using my email.
Is there anything I can do to investigate further please?

They are refusing to allow you to use their service.
They are allowed to do that.
Maybe speak to your email provider about suspected misuse.0
