  • I think the second watch is lovely too.

For my ex, i went with the photo idea but i made a collage of photos of him with our children and other family members, and had it framed. He was living with his GF at the time (they've now split up) so i didn't put any of me in ! He still has it on his wall.

I had to do this too when I made the album, particularly because my ex has married again - the only pictures I had of his late father were at our wedding, so I cut off the 'happy couple' bit in the copy! :rotfl:

I think the watch is a lovely idea, I personally preferred the first one as to me it had an easier to read dial. But I did look at them both without my glasses on :)

There is a 48 hour sale on at Nigel O'Hara's which is sitewide at the moment.

There are various amounts of discount off and they all come with gorgeous packaging so if you went for a watch you would be able to get it a little cheaper than anywhere else.

I always buy from them and i just ordered my husband a Rotary Pocket watch for a total of 30% off!

Great, thanks Sharlot, will check it out. I love pocket watches, what a bargin :)

Thanks Erinnire, i thought the first one was easier to read too, but i like the overall design of the other one better. I will look at them both in the shop anyway to be sure, but i think the second one looks a bit more special.
