Squeaky toys that last more than 5 minutes?
easy
Blaze is a lovely little boy, he was a year old on Saturday.
Very lively, he is 1/2 cocker spaniel, 1/2 chihuahua, and he loves squeaky toys BUT, he can generally de-squeak one within a few minutes. Then he gets really disappointed that it doesn't squeak anymore.
So can anyone tell me if there is a squeaky toy that is tougher to get the squeak out of?

I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

these are great. not indestructable by any means but it takes a lot more effort than your average squeaky.
i also get replacement squeakers

Votes for both Kong Wubbas and Skineeez here - both have stood up well to my Rottie (cross)'s jaws. Also, the 'canvas' type material soft toys seem to do better than anything fluffy or fleecey.0

Kong Wubbas about the best I've found - squeak doesn't last for ever with the Squeakterminator but it's a better effort than most dog toys.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Also, the Kong Tails is similar to the Wubba but the Kong part is rubber rather than material. The squeaker is in one of the 'tail' parts. It's a good weather-proof toy, mine often leave it out in the garden and it doesn't go soggy or mouldy like fabric toys can.0

http://www.kongcompany.com/en-uk/products/for-dogs/rubber-toys/interactive-rubber-toys/classic-tails/ is the product information page. I know I've got the regular Kongs cheapest from VetUK in the past so might be worth checking them out, but perhaps shop around to see if there's any better offers available

(the squeaker is located in the blue 'tails' bit - in the first photo it would be at the top of the 3rd and 4th tail, you can see a slight bulge where they join. For some reason, despite it being in quite an easy place to reach, neither of mine have made any attempt to rip it out like they often do with other toys!)0 -
I got the kongs for mine but they had no interest in them. I now get the kong tennis balls with a squeaker. They havent yet torn one of those open - all other normal squeakers have been ripped apart in less than a minute before, which is pretty dangerous.0

One of my chaps has a very scruffy beard (there must be some terrier in him somewhere - along with the rest of the KC breeds directory by the looks of him) - tennis balls regularly result in him ending up with bright fluorescent yellow highlights in the beard of tennis ball entrails.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
