I have got some shares in Avis and because we moved house we were not contacted when they got bought out. I have no idea how to sell them now if indeed we can. There is no number to ring,no contact address anymore and no info on the web. All I have basically is the certificate. Not very experienced in this sort of thing, obviously, so what do I do?

Looks like Equiniti may have been the registrar for Avis Europe plc so you might want to contact them on 0871 384 2278 or via the more general details at https://help.shareview.co.uk/4/Help/Default/En/Pages/Contactus.aspx0
