Thanks for the suggestions patty, just off now. She uses a beaker at the hospice, still enjoys her cups of tea, all be it through a straw at times.
I did take some fluffy socks in but the nature of her cancer on her spine plays havoc with nerve endings so she usually wants her feet uncovered, I do give them a massage with some Gok cream from her vanity case.
I grabbed a little photo of her and my dad to have by her bedside but I must take down an album that is such a good idea. Unfortunately her eyesight is so poor because of other problems she cannot see to read and the tv at the hospice although close is a bit of a blur.
I do reminisce with her loads and we have a laugh about things, she said last night I have a lovely smile.
Awwwww that is lovely TS.never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
Just left Cow & Gate a nice message on their live chat (the live chat rep said someone's calling me back - I flat refuse to ring their 08457 number!)
Bought a couple of boxes of baby food which are well within date with MOCs printed on them.
The expiry date on the coupon was printed on the inside of the box and when I finally cut them out I realised they expired 01/01/2013!!
Funny thing is the food itself has an expiry of 09/2014 so who knows how many of these boxes of food people are buying for the coupons only to find they've already expired
I love that somebody else points this out to the company x
Bertolli still have a link on their website that I pointed out to them about 2 weeks ago for a 50p off coupon, when you click it says this campaign has now finished, they thanked me for pointing it out, apologised for my disappointment and sent me a £2 voucher for letting them know(Sainsbury's have it on offer 2 x 500g for £2 so 2 free), still not fixed though, plainly visable on the banner that changes on their home page!"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

I didn't bother to order second time round as I don't think anyone was lucky from the first round of orders, even after getting confirmation emails. Should have given it a go. Fairclaire even asked me if I was going to, hope she gets hers too.
See you later folks.0 -

Mine were free, the girl just scanned the coupon and the full amount came off, I got 2 packs of loo roll and 2 for 85p sweeties and paid 85p0 -

Just a thought, would it be possible (I know it would be very hard for you daughter to do) for her to make a recording that could be played to your mother if she is unable to reach her bedside in time?"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138
