Comparison total (compared products only) £80.60 £101.30

I had one receipt yesterday, total bill over £100, but gave nothing - all the baby food and other multibuy stuff they'd bought made A cheaper. Even if someone does a £100+ shop, it might be that only half of it has comparable items (within 10% weight limit, plus or minus either side) to one rival, half or a quarter to another etc. It just depends what compares and what sizes the other competitors have. On here (apart from really cheap fillers, e.g. 10p sweets) we tend to be buying items which do compare and refund the APG, but we forget about the numerous items that are N/A on the other supermarkets but may comprise a significant part of an 'ordinary' £100 bill shop.

Thanks for posting this receipt, for Tvs A.
Although, if I was doing Tvs A - which I probably will be tomorrow (missed today with early closing:mad::mad:) - there's a lot of items here that I wouldn't use, if I were you, Tvs A, as they are not on offer prices at A (to get T to compare to) and/or alternative comparisons may be available which are a lot better.

Just about the bananas and the mixed weight eggs would be good T vs A. (Bananas a good filler T vs A at the moment.) I wouldn't get the Savoy Cabbage, as it's 'too expensive' at A - my guide price is 50p or lower - and, on the results of the womble, it would suggest Avs T is actually a better option as not 10% cheaper than T's 'ridiculous' 80p pricing at the moment.

As of today - and, I'm very much hoping, tomorrow - it's the whole cucumber that is best T vs A: T 80p, A 50p. This in addition to the items on what is currently my T/S vs A post near the start of this thread. As such, as I've already been checking items that are good value for A, to put on Tvs A, there won't be I feel much else that the receipt can add.

    For example:
I won't get the Banana Munch Bunch Layered Strawberry as it's probably better Avs someone else - and in any event as the Mullers vs M are way better (with glitches), I'm having no other yogurt!
The Brown Sauce 450g, at £1.68 for A, is too expensive. Absolute maximum of £1.00 on that and, even then, it'd be Avs M for £1.00 (now expired) thus 90p net, not T price match to £1.68 full price. (Please don't take this if it comes across as a trenchant critique, as it is not intended that way. I'm definitely here to try to get more saving of money - including than this womble unfortunately suggests.)

The Birds Eye Fresh Field Peas 800g - at £1.99 - is too expensive. Wait till they are half price somewhere than A, then compare Avs ???

Only the Kellogg's Just Right seems a good one - but it's only 500g, so for £2.00 is more expensive, 40p/100g as opposed to my maximum guide of around 20p/100g. Just Right would seem good Tvs A (apart from that fact), but Avs M as of the week just gone should compare better.

The Spaghetti Sausages are ridiculous even Avs T's 95p, as that's full price. Buy in 3s or 4s when a competitor has them on a multibuy offer, inevitably at equivalent of 75p each, for 10% cheaper, i.e. 60-odd pence each, not 80-odd pence as at present.

The Heinz soups are ridiculous at even 10% off 89p. This is more expensive than even A's 'rollback' 50p that's expired. Buy 4 pack multipacks of Heinz Soup - tomato, chicken or vegetable - A vs T. A £3.00, T at £2.00 on those, therefore £1.80 net divide by 4. Or buy 4 pack multipack of C&Blackwell - Chicken, Vegetable or Tomato, at T (NA at A) £1.49, or C&Blackwell 4 pack same price, tomato only, at M.

Maltesers Pouch - Avs M: see my list that was valid to today.
Oxo Stock Cubes are also £1.00 at M, so Avs M on them, not Tvs A (although I've decided 90p via APG for these cubes is too expensive, based on price per 100g, to say nothing of £1.00, and that better options are avail. - T Eday Value cubes, A CBY in 2s vs M, even Knorr Stockpot A vs M, although that last one becoming expensive, at which point, getting more expensive still, I excluded certain Bisto size Avs M which was considered but excluded due to price, and was on BOGOF at T recently so was far cheaper Avs T than Avs M now is, Oxo Avs M more expensive (even with APG) still).

Warburtons Crumpets - 80p is too expensive for me. I'm onto SP Crumpets (6) - who knows they may (or may not) even be made in the same factory - 37p vs T or M.

Jus Roll Puff Pastry - was 88p at M. So 81p with APG, not a price match of T to £1.00. Kingsmill bread - way too expensive at £1.35 price or ten per cent cheaper.

Anchor Butter is a 'good' one - but it's only 250g and 500g for £2.50 is still too much on that basis. Best butter/marg. price at the mo. is 2x Bertolli Avs T. Or A CBY 250g Spread (Orig or Light) vs M.

McCain Oven Chips 1kg for £1.99 - is twice my guide price. Should be £1.00 (and then at M or T) for Avs M/T 90p. Even 10% off £2.05 - at nearly £2.00 is too much for 1kg. Jordan's clusters at £1.50 - I'm sure there's some Jorsans been on my Avs M list - so £1.35 (via APG) not £1.50. Nestle Shreddies 750g - £2 is too much - my guide is that it should be maximum £1.49. Think this is the case (or recently has been) Avs M, therefore 1.49 minus about 15p. I wouldn't price match to a £2.00.

Similarly, Hair Spray for £3.00. Too much!!
Pantene seems 'okay'. Coco Pops - again, wait till they're £1.34 for this size at M and then buy Avs M, not price match to 'ridiculous' £2.00. Red Grapes - too dear, should be buying in twos (preferably with DTD mis-price SEL) vs S? or M. But, even on the multibuy vs A or M, seems too expensive, of normal situations (e.g. non-DTD) for me, so this is why the grapes offer (I've been aware of it) hasn't been added onto the Avs M post.

Cherry Tomatoes - you can get other tomatoes cheaper (although at the moment, I'm staying off tomatoes as T's eday value price has increased - need that to go down, to buy Avs T).

Nescafe Gold Blend Decaff - good price.

Finally, people may want me to mention the Tresemme Shampoos/Conds. have been £2.00 at A and can be Tvs A or S BM vs A items if A keeps at this price. Though I prefer T or S to be at that price and then... 10% off.
