Morning allpurple-pixie wrote: »I took my husband to Tosco (B*dw*rth) after work today and he chose which checkout to use because it was shortest - grrr! I went off to grab a few bits I had forgotten and he loaded onto the checkout reigned over by Queen Trout. She's always nice as pie until she glimpses coupons, then she becomes wonderfully condescending and pitying of the poor customer who needs to stretch their money in such a terrible way.
I had to dig out the Chocablock icecreams to prove I had bought them, then she pulled a face and said that they weren't valid as they are not the same as the picture on the coupon. I explained that the coupon is valid for any Chocablock product and she magnaminously agreed that I could use them.
Every coupon was greeted with "and did you buy this?". When I produced my wombled PP she acted like it was coming out of her wages, and insisted that she has to keep the receipt even though I hadn't got the 120 cc points transferred to my card.
Sorry about the rant, I just need someone to understand why I'm wishing the aforementioned checkout trout a wonderful weekend full of kittens and rainbows!
I won't ever give up my receipt. Besides it being legally yours, what happens if you have a problem with something you bought? I would be complaining to customer services, insisting your points are awarded, and a spot of retraining for Queen Trout.0 -

Good morning everyone
Snow is already falling, and settling!
Hope everyone has a very good day.The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
Morning everyone. Small covering of snow this morning. This will seriously interfere with the wombling I have planned for this afternoon when DD is at her friends. It must be time for a glitch this weekend. Having to pay real £ for my shopping at the minute as no wombling for a while.0
