Hi guys,
Have drunk too many cups of tea this evening whilst watching the final Utopia. Now i'm wide awake!I dont know what karlie does but having watched a few of these junior doctor shows in hospitals, how can you expect anyone to be at the top of their game 36 hours in type thing.
I know from when I worked nights many times I ended up with 2-3 hours sleep because binmen, postmen, kids, people cutting grass etc wake you up and it is a fuzzy world when you are going without sleep reguarly.
Not drunk but not sober if you have been there you will know exactly what I am talking about
Know exactly what you're talking about. The amount of times i've driven home and can't remember whole chunks of the journey, it's scary ♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

Always be careful how you word things on here as I have noticed there is a minority on here will jump on anything. (Alright DM not meaning your latest conquests)

I admire those who work shifts:)

many years ago I worked on call night shifts, mostly weekends. It was wretched:(....no matter how tired I was I couldn't sleep in the day. Mind you it gave me good practise for when the wide awake kid came along:D:rotfl:
I get quite disgusted at my OH who can have a snooze in the afternoons. Or maybe Im jealous? I always feel like Ive wasted time if I sleep when I should be doing something else0 -

The good thing about night shifts though, is that wonderful feeling when it is pouring down outside, and you are just crawling into bed as everyone else is setting off to work, that feeling is priceless!“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
