We always park on New Bridge Street, Salford.
Type that into a Google map search and you will see a couple of car parks.
There are a couple of secure car parks and there is a stretch of free parking on New Bridge Street itself after 6pm.
Just a quick walk under the bridge, turn left and you will see the road up to the arena.
Type Greengate, Salford into Google Maps and then add directions to Victoria Station Approach and choose the walking option.0 -
Which way are you coming from?
Me I would park in Altrincham and get the metro into town.0 -
If you are coming through Prestwich then park at the car park next to the arena its where Boddingtons use to be! It's where I always park when I am coming to manchester

Nooo! The trams are shocking, there's problems every single day - breaking down, derailing, running into buses/cars/old people, bits of cable getting nicked so nothing can run, power failures, and just general lateness for no reason other than they're Metrolink and that's what they do - sod's law says the poor OP would take the tram and end up missing the gig! Or the trams would be so busy they'd have to wait for 6 to go past before managing to get on one. Or end up getting on one and being squished into the door/window/sweaty fat guy's armpit the whole way there. Or... oh I just hate the trams.0 -
When are you going? where you coming from? Don't park at Boddingtons car park,it's great for being really close but it's a pain to get out of because everybody parks there and you end up queuing to get out.I park a bit further away on a car park on New Bridge Street the guy who patrols it is lovely but he increases the prices for gig goers tell him you're shopping! It's literally 5 minute walk away, but I miss the hoards of traffic from the arena car parks,(DO NOT park in the arena not only does it cost £15+ you also get stuck inside waiting, need anything just ask .Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0
