It's the agent's job to pass all offers to the vendor, he is employed by the vendor, he gets paid by the vendor. This is a dishonest agent. Avoid.0

You could get a copy of the deeds from HM Land Registry (about £8 ish) and you can do it online.
Then you will have the name and address of the owner.0 -
