Time needed to crack passwords

They range from instantanious to centuries

I would advise everyone NOT to put their real passwords into this.
For all you know the site could be logging your IP and the passwords you enter.
This could then give someone an avenue in to hack you.0 -

I wouldn't put my real passwords in but 'Idon'tknowwhatmypasswordis' apparently takes 3 hours to crack.Herman - MP for all!0

and this ladies and gentlemen is why I dont bother posting on here anymore
It came through AVASTS own pop up to explain how quickly passwords can be hacked and the way they do it (For example : using ZXCVB)
Put random passwords in if you dont think its legit
Or get the thread take off by mods
Whatever.........:idea:0 -
Its actually an open source (github) password strength checker.
If you're that fussed or paranoid then just download it from github and run it locally.
