Am I even in the right forum? I am not sure but it's kind of a techie question that I can't find an answer to on this site (and yes, I did e-mail MSE but didn't get a response)
Does anyone know what CMS/backend is used for this forum? I'm looking into providing one for my work and I really like the functionality of this one.
Also, to any MSE web peeps - it'd be interesting to those of us who are techie minded to have some details on "about the site".

It's powered by vBulletin, more than likely heavily customised though to fit in with the rest of the site.

D'you remember when it was running on YaBB?0

I remember YaBB, also went through developing for the UBB.x and Opentopic series of forum software.
I remember way back, taking ages to design ANSI/ASCII pages for the old BBS's. That's when you used to host them at your own home0
