  • It most likely will rise to 25 and i will still be stuck on CSA1,
I had to laugh i phoned the CSA at Falkirk last month and they where very nice to me, which made a change non of that "you child maintenance is more important than your mortgage or eating rubbish like you normally get, after a very pleasant conversation I asked about CSA3 and she said they want everyone moved over sooner rather than later!! she then went onto say that she could be soon out of a job!!! well they all should off thought of that in there hey day of being a law to themselves, loosing wage slips, dictating to N.R.P's like they where dirt, telling them to pack in work if they said they would be better off not working, surely they must of know that this sort of attitude would get back to the M.P's who decide on policy. well what they say what goes around comes around!!!!!

hi can anyone help me please.
i pay for my daughter csa as she went on to further education, but i have found out via facebook that she has graduated and her status says studied at ..... .
i am not certain if this means she has left college or not.

I'm sure you all know you can put any kind of tripe on facebook, doesn't mean it's the truth, often it is wise to take what you read on there with a pinch of salt ;)

Well apaprently in Scotland a parent is financially responsible for their child until the age of 25.
There was a post on here last month where a daughter was threatening to take her father to court if he didnt give her money to fund her through a masters course.

I read that... but in scotland, the NRP only pays for the initial degree. not a masters ETC... once the degree is gained thats it...

and the "child" has to support themselves also - work part time etc...

    - bit like Irish CM payments... which is "fair"... if the NRP pays CM to a mother, it is taken into account for the Family Suppliment payments... if a court has to order the payment it wont be considered, and the NRP is deemed to have the money still... (encourages NRP's to pay voluntery).

    - amazingly Republic of Ireland, whilst still having a REMO process, doesnt have a CSA link, even if you are still considered as "Habitually Resident" within the uk...
