Cereals reduced at Asda

Thought I'd share that In my local Asda today I picked up loads of reduced packets of Cereals this included :
Asda Multigrain loops 500g ( like Cheerios) 34p a box
Asda Muesli 1.5kg size 67p
Oats so simple family pack 20 sachets £1
Apricot Wheats 34 p a box
Raspberry wheats 34p a box
Oat so simple Honey box 57p a box
Nestle Chocapic duo 325g 67p a box
Kellogs chocolate flakes 34p a box

There were loads more and all the ones I've listed here had dates from August up to dec 2013!!!
They also had Pop Tarts apple burst 8 pack 62 pence a box
and Asda value cereal bars Strawberry and Cranberry 6 pack at 19p a box !!!!! I've stocked up !!

Lets just say my Local is one of the smallest around in North Wales I asked a supervisor and she said it is Nationwide something about Asda clearing stock and limiting their stock in some areas.

Just checked with my OH (he works at Asda, he's there now!) and there are no such reductions at his store, although this is a larger 24 hour store, so may just be limited to smaller stores looking to make more room.

Could be our store has had a mini makeover and some cereals were reduced last week too. Have read somewhere that someone else has picked up some Pop Tarts for the same price, but I'm surprised that there are so many reduced in my local.... to be honest a few of the cereals that were reduced I've never seen there beforei.e family pack Oats so Simple and the Nestle choco cereal hope some one else gets lucky

I'm just sad because poptarts are amazing and my rabbit loves cheerios :P

Thinking of you I currently have 5 boxes of Pop Tarts to keep my kids happy this half term xxxxxxx Hope you find some tell your oh to check for them????
