ovo dual fuel bill from 2010

Hi after some advice please. I have just received a duel fuel bill from OVO from 2010. This company didn’t supply my fuel as the account was never activated as i went with a different company….Any ideas any body. Heard nothing until now

Presumably you applied to switch to OVO and then charged your mind??

It seems probable that the switch to OVO went ahead and then a further switch to another company.

You need to check the closing meter readings of your old Utility Company(in 2010) and opening readings of the 'different company' and see if there is any difference. If OVO didn't supply you they should be the same.

If you are still in the property, and with the same company, you can ask them from whom they took over the account.

The first thing to establish is if OVO did supply you, then you can address the matter of it being a valid bill or not.

Don't ignore the matter or it has the potential to trash your credit record.

Were Ovo the deemed supplier when you moved in? If so the bill may be valid.
You need to give full info to get meaningful answers. For example, when did you move in, and what period have you now been billed for?
