Pony too wet to ride so she had a thorough pampering.
    Today I am grateful for
    * got some good stuff done at work
    * DH is lighting the fire
    * should be able to light the aga tomorrow and cook
    * did a bit of lovebombing at work
    * passed on a travel cot to an expectant colleague
  • Ooh poor you with the car bill and the wasp sting. Both very nasty. Hope things are looking up now.

Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Just caught up with your diary. Love it . Will subscribe. That car bill might just put me off a landrover though!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    Hi Watty and thanks.
I have been doing battle with a smoking aga since I got home, but I am so pleased to finally be able to cook again.

It's like the start of the Orwell novel that never was :rotfl:

Glad you're cooking again, nothing makes a home quite as much as the smell of something tasty bubbling away.

Well i will be cooking in the morning since being an aga it takes hours to heat up.

I was thinking my day was more Kafkaesque in flavour!!
