    He was good thanks and now back in action! Had a secret lesson this morning which went well. Even our hack afterwards was reasonably successful !

    As this is clearly the go to place for discussions about legitimate documentaries - did anyone else see the episode of Horizon 'your cat poops outside' that was on during the week?

    Nice as it was seeing cats and their posh owners, I couldn't quite figure out the point of it all :)
    * a colleague has lent me "genesis of the daleks" on DVD

    I'm not a DW fan, but is that one of the earlier ones? In my humble opinion, I liked it better when they had ropey special effects and funny costumes.

    Your cat poops in my garden more like it!

    Yes it was one of the ones with a wobbly set. It was directed and written by B7 people so bound to be fabulous.

    Sad? Moi?

    Laurajo that sounds like real progress you have made.

    Just sat down having bottled 29 bottles of home brewed Muscadet.

    Today I am grateful for

    Didn't watch the documentary, but did read the associated article in the BBC. As well as odd footage from cat cams, it had maps where they tracked the cats territory, which was quite interesting to see.

    Busy busy day.
    DH got a 3 hour lie in and a card. Dad got homebrew and 3 bags of pony products to accelerate his compost heap. Pony not too bad today. I sold some stuff on ebay but also relisted lots.
    They say the best time to plant an oak tree is twenty years agoand the second best time is now so with that in mind DD was crossing the field with a potted oak sapling in a wheelbarrow when pony rushed up, snatched a mouthful of moving leaves, frightened herself so much she ran away and then did it again. Crazy beast but so funny.

    Today i am grateful for
    * Dad
    * DH
    * a fire. How bad am I?
    * dinner en famille
    * I sold some broken chairs.

    Today I am grateful for
    * the re list facility on ebay
    * bed
    * DH working hard at his marking
    * the most stunning sunset
    * bed
